This course will help carers to: - Define the meaning of equality, diversity & identity - Explore the origins of discrimination & why people discriminate - Investigate modern forms of discrimination - Understand the legislation designed to prevent discrimination and policies designed to promote, equality, diversity & identity - Understand the role of foster carers in helping to prevent and challenge discrimination
